HSA Eligibility (Effective 2026)
Under current federal legislation effective January 2026, Direct Primary Care memberships may be paid using Health Savings Account (HSA) funds.
This allows:
Up to $150 per month per individual
Up to $300 per month per family
to be paid with pre-tax dollars when utilizing an HSA.
FFor many families, this aligns primary care access with long-term financial planning and intentional healthcare structure.
For many individuals enrolled in high-deductible health plans, this creates a more streamlined financial structure for primary care access.
We recommend confirming eligibility with your HSA administrator or tax advisor.
A Smarter Structure — Not Simply an Added Expense
For many individuals, Direct Primary Care initially feels like an additional cost layered on top of traditional insurance.
In practice, many patients choose it as part of a different structure.
Rather than relying on insurance for routine primary care, they use Direct Primary Care for comprehensive, relationship-based oversight — and pair it with separate risk protection for major, unpredictable medical events.
For patients utilizing high-deductible plans or health sharing arrangements, this structure often restores primary care to the center of care delivery.
When structured intentionally, this approach frequently consolidates rather than expands spending.
Instead of paying premiums, copays, specialist fees, and standalone hormone or weight-management subscriptions, care becomes integrated within one physician partnership.
The result is not simply more access.
It is greater coherence — often with improved financial efficiency and fewer structural redundancies.
Value, In Time.
Many patients exploring Direct Primary Care are currently paying:
• Insurance premiums
• Copays
• Specialist consultation fees
• Standalone hormone clinic fees
• Separate weight-loss program costs
When these are combined, the total often exceeds a comprehensive Direct Primary Care membership.
At Metronome Family Medicine, metabolic care, hormone therapy, preventive medicine, and comprehensive primary care are integrated within one physician relationship.
Value is not measured only in cost.
It is measured in continuity, clarity, and long-term oversight.
Care should be cohesive.
Care should be accessible.
Care should move in harmony with your unique needs.
Clinical Integrity, In Time.
Every recommendation is grounded in medical appropriateness, clinical judgment, and individualized assessment. No protocol replaces physician accountability.
Is Membership Right for You?
Membership is often a strong fit for individuals and families who:
• Value direct physician access
• Prefer integrated hormone and metabolic care
• Seek transparency in pricing
• Want continuity rather than episodic visits
• Intend to build a long-term physician relationship
Direct Primary Care is not designed for transactional convenience.
It is designed for individuals who want to structure their healthcare intentionally.
If you are ready to move from fragmented, visit-based medicine to a coordinated, physician-led model, you are invited to schedule a consultation and determine whether this approach aligns with your priorities.
